What will you learn in the “ABC of Wine” course?

The aim of the course is to turn you into a wine expert. During the 5 lessons, held in the heart of Milan with an expert sommelier, you will learn to:

• Understand the fundamental differences between the various types of wine, from white to red, from sparkling wine to rosé, discovering what makes each type unique.
• Master the art of tasting, learning to recognize aromas, flavors and characteristics that make each glass a unique experience.
• Travel among the Italian and international wine excellences, knowing the secrets of the great producers and the factors that influence the taste and quality of a wine.
• Choose and pair wines with dishes, transforming every meal into a special occasion thanks to the perfect harmony between flavors and aromas.

This course is not just theory : each lesson includes a tasting of selected wines to immediately put what you have learned into practice and discover the secrets of wine directly in the glass!

Lesson 5: Beer, spirits and liqueurs

Wine is not the only protagonist of the food and wine scene. This additional lesson will lead you to discover other alcoholic beverages, delving into production techniques and sensory characteristics.

What you will learn:

• The beer production process, with a focus on artisanal variations.
• The distinctive characteristics of spirits, liqueurs and bitters, from sweet to more aromatic notes.
• How to taste and appreciate different drinks to broaden your cultural background.

Practical tasting: tastings of beers and spirits to put what you have learned into practice.
