CookingCamp: Cucina In's weekly summer camp with a cooking theme dedicated to children aged 6-11 with weeks with a program dedicated to children aged 12-14 and a week dedicated to children aged 15-17 .

Why choose Cooking Camp for children aged 6-11

WEEKLY CAMPUS

From Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, with the possibility of extending the hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm (*)

 

COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT

Every morning is dedicated to a workshop that ranges from correct nutrition, waste separation, hygiene and HACCP standards. Mid-morning snack with various options including fruit and yogurt.

 

EXPERT STAFF

This will be followed by space for cooking with the preparation of recipes for lunch together with our chef-educators to discover ever-varied and different ingredients (vegetables, fresh pasta, meat & fish, pizza)

 

VARIED PROGRAM

After lunch, weather permitting, an outdoor break in the small park in front. Upon return, snack and different workshops every day: pastry making, Japanese cuisine, cooking in English, themed games or small trips to the supermarket.

 

TRIP TO THE VIA FAUCHE' MARKET

Weather permitting, Tuesday morning will be dedicated to the inevitable trip to the market in via Fauchè.

 

LITTLE CHEF KIT

Each participant will be given a kit with a bag, apron and chef's hat.

 

END OF COURSE PARTY

On Friday at 5pm end of course party where the children will be given a hat, diploma and complete recipe book as a souvenir of the week.

 

EVERY WEEK UNTIL THE END OF JULY THEY ARE SOLD OUT!

COST AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • h9am-5pm €290 per week – meals and snacks included.
  • (*) Entrance/exit time extension +€15 every 1/2 hour
  • Places are limited for each week
  • The place is blocked upon payment of the deposit of €150 to be paid online .
  • The additional €10 discount for brothers/sisters or for multi-week registration will be calculated on the balance.

    Every week the topics that will be addressed in the morning will range from those of the basics of Italian cuisine including:

    • Pasta & First courses, sauces and vegetables.
    • Semolina flour and 00 flour: how to make fresh pasta. Tips on sourdough.
    • Quick second courses of meat and fish.
    • The basics of bread making.
    • Pizzas and focaccias & co.

     

    AFTERNOON SESSION H2PM-5PM PASTRY BASICS PROGRAMME

    Every week the topics that will be addressed in the morning will range from those of the basics of Italian cuisine including:

    • Pasta & First courses, sauces and vegetables.
    • Semolina flour and 00 flour: how to make fresh pasta. Tips on sourdough.
    • Quick second courses of meat and fish.
    • The basics of bread making.
    • Pizzas and focaccias & co.

     

    APRON AND RECIPE BOOK

    Every week each participant will be given a Cucina IN apron and a recipe book with all the preparations made at the end of the course.

    "Full immersion" weeks for the older ones

    Week dedicated to

    range 12-14

    • A week of Intensive Course with IN Kitchen Chefs to learn, in just 5 days, the basics of Italian cuisine and become independent in the kitchen .
    • The morning lessons are dedicated to the basics of cooking (excluding pastry making) and the afternoon ones exclusively to pastry making.
    • All participants, at their own workstation, will be actively involved in the preparation so that everyone works on their own preparations compatibly with the recipes.
    • They will also have the opportunity to taste samples of their own preparations and take some home.
    • morning session is from 9am to 12pm . Then lunch break and small break in the open air (with our chef-educators for the 12-14 year old group; for the older ones the break will be shorter and more time will be dedicated to cooking). From 2pm to 5pm afternoon session .

    AGE GROUP 12 – 14 YEARS WEEKS

      • June 17-21
      • 01-05 July
      • July 15-19

    Weekly cooking class for children aged 15-17

    The program of the week dedicated to children aged 15-17 touches on the same topics as that of children 12-14 which you can learn more about here, but older children will require a more intense pace and discipline.
